Say What? Mostly Sunny is One of the Finalists for the Belgium Weekend Blog Awards??? This Calls for a GIVEAWAY!

Hey everyone!

Sorry I haven’t updated as often as I should this week. I’m still very tied up with work, and I had a busy day yesterday running around different PR agencies in Antwerp to see what’s in store for the A/W 12/13 (the pictures will soon be on my Facebook page). Today I actually had a mad photo session with my bestie who was trying to teach me how to use my new camera properly, so I wasn’t online all day until Teri at BellaChique (if you haven’t checked her blog out you really should. She is my talented blogger BFF) texted to tell me I am one of the finalists of the Belgium Weekend Blog Awards!

For those of you who don’t live in Belgium, Weekend is an upscale lifestyle magazine. A while ago, their website called for nominations for the Weekend Blog Awards. I remember thinking my blog is SO new that it is impossible for me to make it as a finalist, so I promised myself I’ll keep working hard and give it a try next year.

Guess what? Someone must have been nice enough to nominate me, and I became one of the five finalists in the beauty blog category!

If you’re interested in voting for me, you can click here. I was nominated as a Flemish blog, so the voting is in Dutch. You have to pick something from each category to fill in the form at the end and complete the voting process. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

In the meantime, I am giving you the heads-up for the upcoming giveaway! Mostly Sunny was going to do one for my 28th birthday and the blog’s 6-month anniversary, so this couldn’t have happened at a better time! The giveaway will come in two parts, one for my Belgian readers and the other for everybody (which means if you live in Belgium, you get to participate in both). The prize includes Dior, Guerlain, and NARS products, so you will DEFINITELY want to stay tuned! It will start on my birthday, the 24th of April!
