Befitting for a Lady: Chanel Les Essentiels de Chanel Troublant, Rose Initiale, Frenzy

While I get a big kick out of the fact that I have greatly expanded my comfort zone beyond everyday basics, sometimes I do feel the need for staple pieces to chill with. You know, like a good pink blush that goes with everything, a lip shade that’s my lips but better, and a chic nude nail polish… not unlike what Chanel offers this fall with Les Essentiels de Chanel!

I Don’t Like Crackle or Crocodiles, but I Love Dior Golden Jungle Crocodile Leather Effect Nails!

Let me admit this: when I heard Dior is releasing their version of a crackle polish, I just about winced. I have played with a crackle polish or two, but the thick and rubbery texture is something I just can’t get past so I previously didn’t own any. Bring Mediterranean to Your Nails with Dior Vernis Saint-Tropez!

Dior Vernis Saint-Tropez isn’t exactly new news. Back in July 2011, it was launched in extremely limited quantity to celebrate the Dior boutique opening. It sold out so fast that it broke numerous hearts. I’m sure when it was brought back with the Croisette Collection many could barely suppress a yelp of joy!

I liked the swatches I saw back at the time, but I never looked into it since from what I read it was sold out at lightening speed. Also, here is the thing: I know it is some kind of silly bias, but I had (and to a certain extent still have) the idea that turquoise, like most blues, would not work for my skin tone.
