Caudalie Vinexpert Anti-Ageing Serum Eyes and Lips Review

I don’t go for anti-aging products as a rule (yet), but from time to time one strays into my cabinet. I have always been a fan of Caudalie, so when I was running out of eye cream some months ago I thought I’d look into the brand for one. This was recommended to me as something that has a light texture so I speedily went on board!

Hair Talk: the Last Stretch. What Has Worked for My Hair this Year

Four years ago when I was about to move to Belgium, I predicted my hairdresser would be one of the people I miss the most. Just to make things clear, I think this goes past the typical tricky Asian hair problem. It is more about the fact that he has never disappointed me during the 6 years and a half years I’ve known him. I am a minimalist when it comes to hair. I want a good cut that I can easily blow dry to make it look presentable. I use next to no styling products (I do need a curling mousse now after the perm), and after I successfully reduced the frequency of shampooing in the beginning of the year, it seems like I’m on the right track.

Even though at this moment there’s nothing else I want to do besides going straight to my hairdresser’s from the airport next Wednesday (it’s not a joke. The appointment has been booked!), I am here to share some products that have helped me through the year!

Upcoming Trip, a Wedding, My Summer So Far (& Of Course Kitties!)

It’s that time of the year when this birdie flies south. In two weeks I’ll be boarding the plane for my holiday in Taipei! I am pretty sure this adorable Caudalie set is coming with me. It comes with 30ml of Cleansing Water, 10ml of Moisturizing Sorbet, 30ml of Fleur de Vigne Shower Gel, 30ml of Gentle Conditioning Shampoo, and 30ml of Nourishing Body Lotion. Some of these are old friends (you can see my review of the Moisturizing Sorbet here. It is still my current go-to night cream), and others are new. They come in a travel-friendly bag that has canvas parts to make it extra special. The best part? It retails for 10 euros! Especially if you’re traveling by plane and can’t have your full-size bottles with you, this set is an amazing deal. Even if you’re not traveling, it would be a good start to get to know more Caudalie products!

Also, with the 2-week countdown, I am going on the Oenobiol Intensive Sun treatment today. I will for sure report the results after my holiday!

Caudalie Divine Oil Review + Chanel Les Expressions de Chanel Illusion d’Ombre Illusoire, Variation, & Vision Quick n’ Dirty Swatches

Hey everyone!

Happy Monday! I hope you had a relaxing weekend! Mine certainly was, and now I’m ready to kick start the week!

If you have paid a little attention to new skincare products, you might have spotted the dry oil trend. From hair oil to face oil, from body oil and even body oil with an SPF (like the Corine de Farme one I recently talked about), dry oil has been taken the market in its stride. Since Caudalie is one of my all-time favorite brands, I was naturally all curious and excited to try their new product, Divine Oil.
