Katy Perry + Eylure False Eyelashes in Sweetie Pie, Oh, Honey!, Cool Kitty, Oh, My! & EOTD feauting Sweetie Pie & Cool Kitty

Hey everybody,

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good! I promised to show you the limited edition Katy Perry lashes by Eylure, so here they are!

There are four styles in total. I am going to start from the more natural and move on to the more dramatic. At the end I’ll also show you two EOTDs so you’ll get a better idea of how they really look! You can click to enlarge the packaging pictures if you want to read the instructions on the back. I put them together so that the article wouldn’t become too long.

Seetie Pie is the most natural one among the four. When you open the box, this is what you see:

Each pair comes with a small bottle of glue. The applicator is hard plastic, and I find it OK easy to apply glue onto the lashes with it. I struggled a little, but that could just be because I’m clumsy! I have actually bought Eylure lashes before and I like them. The glue dries transparent, and it holds up very well. I tested it out again this time, and my experience is consistently positive.

The cute thing about these eyelashes is all of them come with stickers that has their names on!

Like Oh, Honey, the band of Sweetie Pie is transparent. When you go to my EOTD at the end, you’ll see that if you look VERY closely, you see the transparent band. However, I don’t think within the normal viewing range people are going to spot that!

Oh, Honey! is already quite a bit longer, and it really flares out at the outer corner. I think they’ll make some sexy kitten eyes!

The two pairs I have showed you above are what I consider things that you could wear on a daily basis. Of course it all depends on what you are used to. For some (including myself), even Sweetie Pie belongs to the nighttime glamour category. For those of you who have a real taste for drama however, what you’re about to see will probably blow your minds!

Cool Kitty is long and spiky! It already takes a bit more skills and effort to maneuver, but if you want something special Cool Kitty might just be your thing!

Last but not least, I bring you Oh, My!

These are the most hardcore falsies I have ever seen in my life. They are so long, dense, and heavy! I think you’d need quite some experience and practice with falsies in general to manipulate these. Your lids are also more likely than not to feel the weight.

But really, if you want to attract some attention, Oh, My is your girl! I’m relatively sure this is what Perry wears on the promotional image as well.

Now onto the EOTDs. I tested these out on the same night. If you think about how I sat in front of my computer for hours with different falsies on each eye, it’s probably quite an entertaining thought!

This is the “Sweetie Pie” eye. For someone who doesn’t wear falsies all the time, even Sweetie Pie has an awful lot of impact! You can see in the closed-eye picture that the band is transparent.

Just to challenge myself, I also tested out Cool Kitty. It’s actually rather heavy, and my vision was partially obscured! I can’t imagine how Oh, My! would feel, but then again I don’t yet have the skills to even put them on :p

If you go to the back of the box, there are actually some pretty useful tips for applying falsies. I did need to trim a bit off so that they would fit.

Do you think you’ll grab some of these? Do you normally wear false lashes? Have you ever? Are you willing to try?

Sunny, your beauty culture translator xx
