I hope you enjoyed a fantastic long weekend! I had a great one going to the wedding, doing a bit of sightseeing in the region, and chilling out on Monday. The weather has been so spectacular here with 25 degrees and a generous amount of sunshine that I had to seize the moment and spend some time outdoor. I’m definitely more tanned already, which you will be able to see for yourself soon!
Today I’m here to continue the Chanel mania by bringing you the second installment of the Summertime de Chanel review, and this time the spotlight’s on the Luminous Bronzing Powder in Sable Rose!
Happy Friday! What are your plans for the weekend? I’ll be off to the beautiful mountains of Belgium for a wedding tomorrow, and I have a lot of errands to run before that can happen. However, I can’t wait to show you the subtle beauty of Chanel Summertime de Chanel, which is just about as exciting!
Summertime de Chanel is a carefully put-together collection for summer 2012. From my own experience and what I have seen, this collection is masterful and on the safe side. Whether you’re on holiday or in the office, this is a collection that can’t go wrong! Today I’m showing you part 1, which includes the Intense Eye Pencil in Pêche Cuivré (75) and Glossimer in Calypso (337). Tomorrow you’ll be seeing the Luminous Bronzing Powder in Sable Rose (917).
Sounds good? Let’s get started!
I’ll admit upfront: I’m not big on gloss. It wasn’t until recently that I started wearing anything on my lips at all, and I prefer hybrid lipsticks that come with a shine but without the gooey, sticky, and tacky mess a gloss can be.
That was before I realized Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss cannot in any sense be associated with the words gooey, sticky, or tacky!
Today I’m showing you Gold Sunrise (224) and Pink Bikini (664) from the Dior Summer Mix Collection, which I have really been loving!
Is it me or does everybody associate the name of Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill with a spy/police detective/Quentin Tarantino movie?
But I’m sure I’m not the only person who is exhilarated about Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Intense Eyeshadows!
After witnessing all the hype, I finally jumped on the bandwagon and purchased #3 and #14. These are known by numbers instead of names here (or rather by different names. The names I found on Sephora.fr is Ultra Violet for #3, and Or/Noir which means Gold/Black for #14) but in the US #3 is named Purpura and #14 Gold Spirit. And guess what? Even with some tiny hiccups, I can’t get enough of them!
How are you today? We’re already over the hump, and ONE MORE working day later it’s the weekend! I hope you guys have a bit more luck with the weather where you are. We’re having a HORRID spring in Belgium. Not only is the temperature anything but warm, we haven’t even seen too much sun either. This makes me a bit saggy… But anyways, today I am here to share my thoughts on the much raved-about L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadows in Purple Obsession (Perpetual Purple in the US) and Emerald Lame!
