A while ago I might have mentioned I wanted to try a Rouge G, but at that point I was looking for a coral and couldn’t find one that I liked in the Rouge G line. When the fall collection came out however, my number one lemming was naturally Gracy Rouge G: a warm coral pink. I can practically jump straight to the bottom line part by telling you it has been the lipstick that I wear all the time!
After we oohed and ahhed about the new Estee Lauder Violet Underground eyeshadow palette and the Bête Noire Nail Lacquer, you didn’t think the nice violet theme would end there right?
No, because Estee Lauder completed the look with the Violet Crush matte lipstick and Rebellious Violet lipgloss! I am going to swatch and review them for you today, and you will get to see them in action soon in another post!

I have good news for my peeps in Belgium: MAX Factor Flipsticks Colour Effect are coming to town! These duo-headed lipsticks which are apparently popular in the UK are going to be available here on July first!
First of all, you might be wondering what flipsticks are. Well, they are duo-ended lipsticks that come with a darker end and a lighter end. As you will see however, the texture/finish vary quite a bit within the five (not all Flipsticks are created equal), and there isn’t too much generalization to be done. To avoid bombarding you with a post that is much too long, I am separating the reviews into two parts.

Tonight I was invited to the opening of the first temporary MAC store of Benelux in Brussels, and I got to see Hey, Sailor! which is coming out in Belgium tomorrow (5th of May) and apparently on the 24th in the US. This is the FIRST TIME EVER in my memory that Belgium is getting a collection before the US, and I really can’t wait to share with you all the swatches and the demonstration by the mega talented and VERY nice senior artist Elke!
