If you have been following this blog for a while, you will know that I seldom exaggerate. I almost never say anything like “you need this” or “I can’t live without it.” However, I am making an exception for the Dior Diorshow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum! It has been something that I use every time I wear makeup since I got it, and I am pretty sure I will repurchase in due course!
Granted I have tried many different mascaras, I have never played with any that is not black. When Le 2 de Guerain Blu 2 Pucci landed on my doorstep, I was simultaneously excited and skeptical. Really? Do I want violet-tinted lashes?
I used to use only waterproof mascara because they tend to hold curls better, and I lived somewhere very hot and humid. My recent experience has convinced me that non-waterproof mascara could be just as good, but rest assured I’ll need some good waterproof mascara for my trip back home.
In the frenzy of summer waterproof mascara releases, MAC has jumped on the bandwagon with Zoom Waterfast Lash Mascara. For some extra definition, I’m also reviewing the Coffee Eye Pencil in the same post. Curious yet?
I don’t know how often beauty bloggers review mascaras in general, but I seem to be doing this at an alarming rate. If you want to know, at the moment I have 5 tubes of open mascaras. FIVE tubes. While I used to be content with finding something that I like enough and sticking to it till its expiration date, nowadays I can’t seem to try enough of them. Lucky for me however, so far I haven’t come across anything I can’t stand!
With all the good vibes I’ve got from Giorgio Armani, I had high hopes for the Eyes to Kill mascara. Did the brand again work its magic? Let’s find out!
Happy Monday! I hope you’ve been taking the bull by the horns so far! I have quite a busy week ahead of me, with classes (makeup classes, so the fun kind), a bachelorette party (though it’s probably going to be tame since it’s on Tuesday and everybody has to work the next day), and a wedding to attend on Saturday, but a blogger’s gotta do what a blogger’s gotta do!
Today I’m sharing my thoughts on the MAX Factor False Lash Effect Mascara. For those of you who live in Belgium, don’t forget that this mascara is available in the limited pink edition till the 24th at Kruidvat for 9,99! I think the normal price is 16,99, so that’s quite a discount!
