During my trip home a couple of months ago, I got another perm. I’ve been having curly hair for two years in a row. I love the easy volume and style a perm brings to the table, but at the same time my hair is inevitably damaged because of it. A while ago I started trying out the new Redken Smooth Lock Butter Silk, and I’m going to review that with a couple of other hair products I’ve been using for you!

last week I was invited to The Body Shop event. There were several things going on, including signing the cruelty-free petition, repackaging of their body butter, and meeting their internationally-renowned makeup artist Chase Aston in person! The slogan is look good, feel good, do good.

I also feel obliged to show you a picture of Mimi’s dog Kuma. This dog has to be one of the MOST adorable ones I’ve ever seen. He’s so big, and he seems SO nice! This is him taking a bath :p
He looks so miserable yet meek I just want to kiss him 100 times!
